Sad day.

Yesterday was a very sad day for the entertainment community and it's fans. First we lost Farah Fawset at the age of 62. She fought a colon cancer for 3 years and lost her battle. It's very sad, I remember her in Charlie's Angels but not that much but I do remember the red bathing suit poster very well.

We also lost Micheal Jackson at the age of 50. This was such a shock! I could not and did not want to believe it. Just on Monday I was at the grade 6 graduation and the Dj put a Micheal song and the kids went crazy, image they have not heard a new song from him in their lifetime and they went crazy for the stuff I grew up with. Now he is gone... I feel so bad for his family.

Micheal was maybe strange but he was a music genius. I just want to remember him by his music and not by all the craziness that followed him. I hope other people will remember him that way also. Let's not forget that his music will live on forever and his great music videos will always have a special place in music videos history.

RIP Farah and Micheal...

A little scare.

This week on Tuesday we had a little scare. We had a child at the school come in with a mask and she was being tested for the A H1N1 virus. Jimmy and I decided to give Zach a day off, we went swimming at Antonia's house. I got some nice color and the kids played and did not drive me nuts.

I don't know what it is, they have a basement full of toys a huge TV to watch and they are always busting for something else. They are never and I mean never happy, especially Zach. It seams he will spend his life very unhappy and there is nothing I can do about it. If we are not buying him something he is not happy. When we do buy him something he is only happy for a short time.

When we were children we very seldom bothered our parents, we were always playing or entertaining ourselves. Now a days if the children are not entertained by us they are bored and we get the crap from that. Things need to change, but how. I really want hings to change they need to get along and they need to learn to play without electronic devises.

We will see what will come of this.

Better late then never.

Well, my children are so happy. Zach was able to see his young team win the Stanley Cup. I watched the game with both kids. Joseph was not able to stay up at 10:30pm he was out and Zach stayed up and saw all the celebrations. I must admit that I was very emotional. It is something special to see Zach real first memory of his team winning the Stanley Cup. Now he really gets the meaning of what the Stanley Cup is and how important it is to win one.

The next morning Zach was up early because he had to go to hockey with Shawn Anderson and Joseph watched the highlights with me. Joseph taught that it was live and he was so excited about the results. The best was when Joseph saw Malkin with the Conn Smyth Trophy, he was screaming that Malkin is the best.

Let me just say that the last 5 minutes of the game were the best I have ever experienced. I thought both sides played great hockey and really put a great show but the better team won. Marc-André Feury what a great game for him the best of his career and that is how he had to play to beat Detroit in Detroit.

I would love to bring the kids to Pittsburg to see the parade we will see maybe I will be able to convince Jimmy to take us depending on when it is or maybe I should talk to Taki.

I can't wait...

Seriously, I can't wait until Zach finishes school. I'm really fed up with fighting in the morning with him for everything. My socks are too big, I don't like these pants, I have a pain, My hair hurts and the list goes on and on. Do other children behave this way? Do they all give parents a hard time to get up? At first I thought maybe he is not getting enough sleep so I was putting him to bed at 7:30 pm until 7:00 am, still the same thing. Then I tried putting him to bed at 9:00 pm super tired and still the same thing. Finally, I tried getting him up early so he has time to get in a better mood and still no victory for me. So I quit...

Joseph gets up and gets dressed in 2 minutes. no matter how much he has slept and no matter what there is to do. It's crazy how very different they are. I could not have them a little the same so it's not so extreme.
