Olympic Dream!

Well, the countdown is on. In exactly one year we will be opening the 21st Winter Olympiad in Vancouver. I am so excited that I started to cry. I hope I get picked to carry the torch that would be such a great honour for me. Everybody knows what a proud Canadian I am. I remember when the Olympic torch for the Calgary Olympics passed here in Laval on cartier. I ran with that torch and I felt so proud to just even see it, I think I cried the hole time I was running beside it. I just think of it and I start to tear up.

I would really like to go to the Olympics. I don't care which sport because I like them all. I just want to go and support the people that work so hard to represent our country. I don't know why I feel so strong about this.

One time I went on a scrapbook weekend with a bunch of girls ( all french Canadians ) and there was a Habs game on and they start with the national anthem and of course I start singing and crying. Well the girls did not know how to react to this, they asked me why are you so emotional it's just the anthem. I told them that they take for granted the beautiful country we live in and that instead of trying to separate it we should all work together and build it even stronger so it's even better. Well, when I was done they were all crying and once home telling everyone about my little story...
